The Clarkston Optimist have been an exceptional friend to the youth served by Blessings in a Backpack.  The Optimist where one of the Clarkston programs first large supporters with awarding a grant in early 2012.

This allowed the program to add the second and third elementary schools to Blessings in a Backpack-Clarkston.  To this day the Optimist have remained a partner with Blessings in a Backpack providing a grant each year to grow and now sustain the program for the many children in the Clarkston Community.  We do not take these gifts for granted, we appreciate each and every one you give to the program.
