Warren Consolidated: Do you have a box truck?

Do you have access to a box truck and would like to help feed hungry children?

Once a month the program needs to pick up pallets of food from the local Meijer store.  These pallets are than transported to the packing site for the Warren program and volunteers unload the food and stock the shelves.  If you have access to a truck with a lift that will hold approximately 2,000 pounds and are willing to help us, we would love to hear from you.

The second transportation need is once the bins of backpacks of food are filled these bins need to be transported to the schools so the bags can be distributed to the students.  This happens weekly during the school year on either Wednesday afternoon or Thursday morning.  If you can help with the distribution of the bins, we would appreciate you volunteering to do this, so the children receive their bags of food.

Our current transportation partner does not have the capacity to add any additional schools and there are more children who could benefit from Blessings in a Backpack.
